Reconstructing Antarctic sea-ice evolution using a new biological archive

A research project funded by the European Research Council (ERC) and the Leverhulme Trust. Our work uses the beautiful Antarctic seabird, the snow petrel (Pagodroma nivea) to reconstruct changes in sea ice and its ecosystems over tens of thousands of years.
